Yesica Sosa
Born and raised in Ushuaia, Yesica always finds herself coming back to choose Ushuaia. At the foot of the mountains is her place in the world, despite a few attempts to work in other cities in Argentina. Yesica has been involved in tourism for 15 years. She started with early experiences in the hospitality industry and studied Hotel Management. Then, after working in the Tourist Information office, National Parks and different travel agencies, she decided to pursue a degree in Tourism. This path led Yesica to discover Antarctica with Freestyle. She delights in assisting passengers as they plan a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Yesica specializes in operations and guest services. In her free time, Yesica enjoys going into the mountains and exploring the different landscapes on Tierra del Fuego.
My tips
- To stay in the observation lounge for as long as possible in Antarctica, you never know when the scenery or wildlife might wonderfully surprise you. Camera and binoculars in hand!
- The Internet in Antarctica is very limited. Take advantage of disconnecting from screens and connecting with nature, people and yourself, appreciate the landscapes with our own eyes and not through screens.
